Meikayla has joined Glasgow City FC, winner of 14 Scottish Women’s Premier League titles in a row between 2007 and 2021. The club embodies so much of what I stand for as a person and I cannot wait to get started on the pitch and in the community. I feel this is exactly where I’m meant to be at this point in my career and I am empowered by my decision to sign with such a successful club.”
Glasgow are adding Meikayla to their squad as they push to win back the Scottish Women’s Premier League title, and compete at the highest level in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Glasgow City sign New Zealand international Meikayla Moore from Liverpool

Glasgow City are delighted to announce the signing of New Zealand international Meikayla Moore.
The 26 year old signs from English FA Women’s Championship winners Liverpool where she has spent the last two years and helped them win promotion back to the Women’s Super League.
The defender won her first cap for New Zealand aged 17 and received her 55th cap just last month. Moore was part of the New Zealand squad that won the 2014 and 2018 OFC Women’s Nations Cup and scored in the 2018 final against Fiji.
Moore was also part of the New Zealand squad at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo while also playing at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
